I believe that every single job in a company is important and if one falls down eventually the rest will follow. I also believe in order to be effective at those jobs it needs to be your passion. If you were passionate about your job in the beginning and it has faded try to figure out why and see if there is a solution.
To be in a job that allows you to be creative is like being free. There really is no better feeling in your career then to be at the top of your game no matter what job it is you are doing. Many times you will see in stores a picture of a person and it says “Outstanding Customer Service Award” and the month. I want to go and find that person and say “congratulations” because being in the customer service field is never an easy one. They had the passion for their job to get the award.
Maybe the job you love the most is not necessarily convenient for your lifestyle then perhaps you can find an alternative. For example, when I got out of school I LOVED working retail. LOVED IT! But then life happens and I got married and the hours where not the same as my husband’s and I had to work weekends when he did not. So I left but I eventually ended up in Human Resources which was a different type of business then retail but I was working with and helping people again and that has always been my passion.
So no matter what job you have be proud because you make a difference in the company and hopefully it is also the job that is your passion.
