To bring out the position that you want to be hired for you should highlight those qualifications in the beginning of your resume in the Summary of Qualifications and/or Objective. This will show the recruiter/hiring manager that you have the qualifications for that particular position.
In this economy you need more than one resume and more than one skill set to be on the safe side. So when you get a chance see what other type of positions you could fit into in case you find yourself without a job. This way you will be ready and hopefully not unemployed for long.
