As we all know sometimes it does not quite turn out that way. I use to write a list at the end of each day for what I was going to accomplish the next day. I would get off to a good start and then a crisis would arise or a higher level project needed to be completed immediately. Well there goes that list. Although I did have a high sense of achievement if I had at least crossed off half of what I had written down.
Some jobs are ones where you work carries over from day to day and there is not one set goal or project for that day. In those cases writing a list or keeping track of what you did complete may help with your sense of fulfillment. If you have a job with set goals every day and then new goals the next day you may not always get everything done but there is a good chance you will and that is a great feeling!
Make sure you obtain at least one goal a day and you will go home feeling better for it and more motivated when you come to work the next day.
